The first induction ceremony of Alpha Tau Sigma at California Baptist University March 2013. 15 inductees in all with family and professors in support. A wonderful night of decorum, peers, and academic atmosphere led students into the future of scholastic aptitude. Everyone was elated to be honored for their handwork and dedication in their degree. Excitement was in the air along with nervous jitters. 2013 Better World Books FundraiserSigma Tau set up bins around campus that allowed students to donate their textbooks. We collected over 1,000 books and had a successful first fundraiser. Professors volunteered and stopped by to help organize and sift through the donated textbooks. It was a long day, but throughly worth it. Joseph Chan, Caleb Garcia, Anna Hart, Professor Colleen Cardinale, and Professor Berniece Bruinius-Alspach had a fun-filled day sharing in the community of service.
